AKILA Tangiers x Cool Calm Studios Sunglasses - Pink Gradient/Pink
After a successful first collaboration in 2022, Los Angeles brands AKILA Eyewear and Cool Calm Studios have now released their second set of jointly designed sunglasses.
The two brands’ mutual focus on timeless looks with modern sensibilities guided their latest creation, a frame dubbed Tangiers. Taking design cues from Martin Scorsese’s Casino, the new sunglasses feature an oversized silhouette and several nods to the 1995 film, like embossed quotes from Robert DeNiro’s “Ace” character and a glitzy Vegas-like finished on the lenses.
